This cute piece of driftwood art consists of little wooden houses made from reclaimed wood and would make a lovely Christmas gift for Mum or for lovers of coastal art and recycled art.   

 

This driftwood base seems to have been drifting on the waves for a long time and has quite a 'fuzzy' texture and part of the manufacturers' stamp can still be seen.

 

The two houses have been painted in chalk paint, one in white and one in a bright fuchsia pink and given tile effect embossed rooftops.  Rusty nails make cute chimney tops!

 

I have added co-coordinating washing to the washing line and the scene is completed with a rusty nail fence.
